TURKEY TROT POTTERY

Unique one of a kind pieces by Mary Russell

Playing Hooky from School

(June 2003) Schools for someone else I say, recess is for me today.  I watch the birds sail in the air and hike the Indian trail and back.  Or perhaps I’ll sling a fishing pole on my back, grab a canoe and hook a fish or two.  But for now, I’ll whistle a happy tune and relax for an hour or two.

Quilt block patterns: Schoolhouse; 4-Leaf clover; Little Birds in the Air; Indian Patch; Appliquéd Fish Shapes and Crossed Canoes.

Overall 6”x3”x4”; Bear is 1.5” tall.
